Es decir, el H\u2082S aparece de forma natural en el biog\u00e1s crudo como resultado del proceso microbiol\u00f3gico que genera el metano, por lo que todo biog\u00e1s crudo contiene cierta proporci\u00f3n de este gas contaminante.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Efectos nocivos del\u00a0H\u2082S<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>El\u00a0H\u2082S es altamente t\u00f3xico y corrosivo. En concentraciones elevadas puede da\u00f1ar seriamente la salud humana y generar olores incluso a niveles bajos. Adem\u00e1s, causa corrosi\u00f3n acelerada en motores, tuber\u00edas y equipos de cogeneraci\u00f3n al combinarse con la humedad para formar \u00e1cido sulfh\u00eddrico. En resumen, sin eliminar el\u00a0H\u2082S, el biog\u00e1s resultar\u00eda peligroso para los equipos, las personas y el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Normativas y est\u00e1ndares de calidad<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Por motivos de seguridad operacional y regulaci\u00f3n ambiental, es obligatorio o muy recomendado eliminar casi todo el\u00a0H\u2082S del biog\u00e1s antes de su aprovechamiento energ\u00e9tico.
